Hi, I’m Dakota. I attended UNCW and absolutely loved the coast. I was a dancer for over 10 years and have always wanted to work with animals. I came to Atlantic Animal Hospital because they offer an environment where I can learn and grow my skills. My favorite part of my role here is getting to know the animals and their personalities. It’s so rewarding getting to form these unique relationships with them! I have a snack-loving mutt named Darla, whom I adore.

I was born in Virginia but have always wanted to live at the beach. Dogs make me incredibly happy and that’s why I am committed to providing the best care for them. I strive to ensure a safe, happy and caring environment for each pet that comes in to the kennel. Before this, I worked for the Animal Welfare League where my passion for animals only grew.
