Doggie Daycare | Groomer
Jennifer O., Doggie Daycare Technician Supervisor
I relocated from Topeka looking for a fresh start, and the beach. Luckily, I also got a new job working here. I grew up caring for animals that I found and was happy to see I could obtain a career in my life long passion. I have actively operated my own rescue for reptiles and amphibians where I rehabilitated and re-homed them. Receiving a therapy dog of my own to manage anxiety helped me recognize the health benefits of canine companionship and allowed me to get beyond the constraints of my anxiety. I would love to further my education with a focus on exotic animals, or ornithology, and assist in a bird sanctuary environment.
Anna has been working hands on with animals since her teenage years. Before beginning her professional grooming career, she worked in groom shops as a bather, assisting other experienced groomers. While in college, she continued to develop her skills and became a groomer herself. But her love of working with animals inspired her to fulfill grooming as her full time, life long career. Anna has been perfecting her skills in the art of grooming as a full time groomer for over 10 years. She continues to attend various seminars and trade shows to keep up with the latest styles, techniques and trends in the grooming industry. She has taught a pet care class for special needs students at cape fear, and has done service work for adoption agencies. She has a deep love for animals, especially her fur babies, Chester a sweet Cavapoo, and Lou a very loving long hair kitty. Her desire is to provide your pet with an exceptional groom and give them the love and attention they deserve.
Rebecca, Grooming Assistant
I was born and raised right here in the beautiful city of Wilmington. What I love the most about animals is how they can turn a bad day into a good one with hardly any effort at all because they are naturally happy, helpful and friendly. I chose to work at an animal hospital because I want to gain more knowledge about their well-being. I want to help animals as much as I can even if it is something as simple as giving them a bath and a little attention. If that makes them feel better than I am glad to do it. I chose AAH specifically because they had a great reputation and I wanted to be a part of that. My animal experience started with family pets as well as close friends that had pets. As of now, I have 2 pets of my own, a dog named Diamond and a cat named Pip. I aspire to be a groomer and provide valuable health-related services that can improve pets over all skin and coat health.
